In Marysvale Cayon you will find something for everyone, fishing, rafting, bicycling, hiking and OHV Trails. Marysvale Cayon is home to the historic Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort, Hovers River Resort, Deer Creek Cabins, the Big Rock Cafe, and Hoovers Grill.  You can find lodging, RV parks, ATV rentals, outfitters and restaurants, all nestled in Marysvale Cayon along the scenic Sevier River.

OHV enthusiasts will also find adventures await in Marysvale Canyon.  Trail 74 takes you east up Deer Creek at the rest area in the canyon, or you can take Trail 74 west from Hoovers Grill back to Marysvale through the fringe of the historic uranium mining district.  From the Big Rock Candy Mountain you can go east up Antelope Canyon to connect with Paiute side trail 22

A Recent addition to Marysvale Canyon is the Rock Candy Express Bike Trail, an 8-mile paved trail that follows the old railroad grade and the Sevier River. The bicycle trail has gradual slopes for an easy ride.  The Rock Candy Express can be accesses from Hoovers, and Big Rock, at the south end, or the trail head with restrooms at the north end of Marysvale Canyon. The scenery along the ride can't be beat.

The most amazing fact about the Sevier River in Marysvale Canyon is that it flows NORTH.

The Sevier River provides many recreational opportunities. German Brown and Rainbow trout flourish the entire length of the Sevier. The fishing is usually excellent whether you fly fish, bait fish, or spin. The Sevier River is also a favorite among kayakers, whitewater rafters, swimmers, and tubers.

Wildlife abounds along the Sevier River, many creatures call this place home, including; deer, elk, mountain lion, bobcat, bear, badgers, beavers, porcupines, rabbits, coyotes, hawks, and even a few eagles. Bird watchers will find the Sevier River Valley in Marysvale Canyon plentiful with a variety of species.

One thing for certain, the size and uniqueness of the Sevier River in Marysvale Canyon provides many opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast.
